The Mathews Conquest has to be the number one tournament bow of all time. It has been used to win major archery competitions both indoors and outdoors for a decade. It offers what every competitive archer is looking for, stability, forgiveness, good speed, and failproof construction. The Conquest has gone through several changes in its decade of existance. There have been Conquest light bows, Conquest 2 bows, Conquest 3 bows, and now the Conquest 4. (I will review the Mathews Conquest Apex as a seperate bow because in it Mathews departed quite a bit from the original Conquest design) Conquest bows use the Max cam so like other Max cam models a high nocking point usually gives the best performance.
