Rob & Mathews Ovation

The Ovation was designed as a tournament bow. Although it is very forgiving and accurate it never gained the popularity of the Conquest models due to being a full 10 feet per second slower speed rating. The Ovation cam has a draw stop with two settings, one for 80% let-off and one for 65% let-off which also shortens the draw length by 1/2 inch. If you do not care for the "mushy" feel of the Mathews drawstop remove the rubber cushion installed at the factory and replace it with a piece of plastic shrink tubing. This will give a solid feel to the cam similar to the newer model Mathews bows. It will also make a slight clicking sound when it contacts the limb so I would not do this if you are using your Ovation as a hunting bow.
